They say that Taiwan’s beautiful scenery shines not only in its mountains and rivers but also in the warm smiles met along the way. On this two-day, one-night journey through Siraya National Scenic Area, Indonesian Muslim influencers Adhan Efendi and Muhammad Dava discovered that Taiwan’s hospitality is as radiant as its landscapes.
From lotus ponds to mud hot springs and from tangy mango treats to aromatic buckwheat noodles — every moment was a photo op, every meal a cultural exchange.
Day 1: Lotus Dreams & Mud Spa Relaxation
Baihe Lotus Park
The journey began at Baihe Lotus Park, where morning sunlight sparkles across a sea of pink blossoms. Adhan’s family couldn’t stop taking photos, calling it “a fairytale garden brought to life.”
Guanziling Mud Hot Spring
Next came Guanziling Mud Hot Spring, one of Taiwan’s most unique natural wonders. The soothing mud baths and mineral-rich waters here deliver pure relaxation, and the perfect escape from summer heat.
Halal Lunch & Cultural Experience
The lunch served at Xianhu Leisure Farm featured a freshly prepared Halal set menu highlighting local ingredients. Afterward, the family joined a fun DIY activity making traditional red turtle cakes (紅龜粿) — a festive treat conveying happiness and good fortune.
Lakeside Resort and Evening Adventure
As the sun began to set, the family checked into Jianshanpi Resort, a relaxing retreat surrounded by lush hills and calm waters. Their peaceful boat ride across the reservoir offered postcard-perfect views. Dressed in summer yukata, the travelers explored the resort by tram before enjoying a Halal dinner featuring pineapple, milkfish, and local culinary flavors. The evening ended with a night eco-walk accompanied by frogs and fireflies beneath a starlit sky.
Day 2: Farm Fun and Mango Happiness
After a hearty Halal breakfast at Jianshanpi, the travelers set out for Nanyuan Leisure Farm, where they tried Taiwan’s one-and-only “lake golf” — a fun game in which participants tee off on a range where the goal is to make a “hole in one” on floating targets. Laughter echoed across the water as everyone gave it a try.
At Landuo Orchid Factory, the family explored orchid cultivation up close and even enjoyed an orchid essential oil hair spa, discovering a whole new side of Taiwan’s agricultural creativity.
The next stop was Guantian Visitor Center, which offers a dedicated prayer room and ablution facilities for Muslim guests. The influencers were deeply touched by the thoughtful design. Lunch followed at the Golden Buckwheat Discovery Center, where the family savored light, healthy Halal buckwheat noodles.
They ended their trip on Mango Street in Yujing, at the heart of Taiwan’s best-known mango farming region. The air was filled with fruity sweetness, and Adhan’s wife Iswari couldn’t hide her excitement as she enjoyed a refreshing bowl of mango shaved ice — the perfect end to a memorable Muslim-friendly journey.

For these influencers, this was more than a trip — it was “connection”.
