Each guestroom at Shangrila Leisure Farm is thoughtfully equipped with a Qibla direction indicator, bidet , and prayer rug to provide a spiritually accommodating environment for Muslim guests.

During the Xingbao Onion Farm experience, a series of fun and interactive activities led by professional guides provide guests with a deeper appreciation and understanding of Lanyang Plain, a land brimming with natural, scenic, and cultural interest. Pick sweet Sanxing scallions in the field and then learn to transform them into delicious scallion pancakes with your own hands. Add as many diced scallions as you like, and let your tastebuds determine the “golden ratio”!

The new 24-hectare campus of the National Center for Traditional Arts is set along the beautiful Dongshan River in Yilan. In addition to organized displays and cultural and art performances, the Center provides a stage for performing artists to show off their creativity. The emphasis here is on the continual propagation, innovation, and renewal of the traditional arts. Stroll among the artistic creations, listen to elegant music, and enjoy exciting performances of Taiwanese opera—even join in the process of artistic creation yourself!
