Step 1|Tea Farm Tour & Tea Culture Briefing

The experience begins with a guided tour of the tea farm (provided in English), introducing the surrounding environment, varieties of tea, and basic knowledge about tea cultivation to help participants better understand and appreciate traditional Taiwanese tea culture.

Step 2|Tea Leaf Picking Experience

Participants change into tea farm clothing (provided by the host) and enter the farm to experience hands-on tea leaf picking. The guide explains basic techniques and shares tea farming insights and stories.

Step 3|Tea Leaf Processing: Rolling, Panning, and Drying

Under guidance, participants join in to complete several essential tea-making steps, including:

  • Rolling: Shaping tea leaves to release natural aromas and flavors
  • Panning: Applying heat to stop oxidation and develop fragrance
  • Drying: Reducing moisture to stabilize the tea leaves

This step helps participants understand how technique, temperature, and timing uniquely influence the final character of processed teas.

Step 4|Tea Tasting & Sharing

The experience concludes with a tea tasting session. Guided by explanations of aroma and taste, participants sample freshly prepared tea and reflect on the transformation from leaf to cup.

  • Booking and payment must be completed in advance. Confirmation of payment serves as your booking confirmation.
  • Activities that require a minimum number of participants may be cancelled by the organizer if the minimum number is not met. Participants will be notified via email or message in advance, and a full refund will be issued.

2. Activity Time & Meeting Point

  • Please refer to the activity page for information on the time, duration, and location of the activity.
  • Participants generally need to travel to the activity location and check in at the requested time on their own.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Based on Taiwan Standard Time, GMT+8):

  • Cancellation at least 7 days before the date of the activity: Full refund.
  • Cancellation 3–6 days before the date of the activity: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation within 2 days of the date of the activity (or no-show): no refund.
  • Refund-related transaction / processing fees shall be borne by the participant.

4. Force Majeure Events

  • In the event of Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters or government restrictions) that prevent the activity from proceeding as scheduled or to ensure the safety of participants, the organizer may reschedule, postpone, or issue a refund as appropriate.

5. Safety & Insurance

  • The activity venue is covered by Public Liability Insurance in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Participants may separately arrange for additional personal insurance if desired.
