This ceramic plate molding experience introduces the fundamentals of slab-building techniques. Learn how to shape a slab of clay into a functional ceramic plate or decorative piece of your very own using a rolling pin and simple hand tools. 

In this easy-paced 30–60 minute session, participants roll, cut, refine, and decorate their own ceramic item. Make a coffee cup saucer, dessert plate, coaster, small serving tray, or decorative work that uniquely reflects your personal style. The shape, texture, and imprinted motifs you choose make it truly your own!

Step 1｜Form the Clay Slab

Begin by preparing and flattening the clay into a base slab.

Step 2｜Roll the Clay

Use a wooden rolling pin to roll the clay into a smooth and evenly thick slab.

Step 3｜Cut the Shape

Cut the slab into any flat shape you desire, up to approximately 15 cm in size.

Step 4｜Refine the Edges

Smooth and round the cut edges to give your piece a refined finish that is free of sharp corners.

Step 5｜Add Your Personal Touches

Use decorative patterns, textures, and imprints to personalize your piece. Your finished ceramic work may be used as a saucer, dessert plate, coaster, small tray or other practical item.

1. Booking, Confirmation & Minimum Participants

• Booking and payment must be completed in advance. Confirmation of payment serves as your booking confirmation.
• Activities that require a minimum number of participants may be cancelled by the organizer if the minimum number is not met. Participants will be notified via email or message in advance, and a full refund will be issued.

2. Activity Time & Meeting Point

• Please refer to the activity page for information on the time, duration, and location of the activity.
• Participants generally need to travel to the activity location and check in at the requested time on their own.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Based on Taiwan Standard Time, GMT+8):

• Cancellation at least 7 days before the date of the activity: Full refund.
• Cancellation 3–6 days before the date of the activity: 50% refund.
• Cancellation within 2 days of the date of the activity (or no-show): no refund.
• Refund-related transaction / processing fees shall be borne by the participant.

4. Force Majeure Events

• In the event of Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters or government restrictions) that prevent the activity from proceeding as scheduled or to ensure the safety of participants, the organizer may reschedule, postpone, or issue a refund as appropriate.

5. Safety & Insurance

• The activity venue is covered by Public Liability Insurance in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Participants may separately arrange for additional personal insurance if desired.
